The machine consist from the transmitter and receiver. The transmitter is a 25 watt with a voltage multiplier . The transmitting voltage is > 400 volts .The receiver is a ELF type with bandwidth 350Hz to 11kHz -3db and rejection of 60 H is – 35 db . No tuning is necessary. The signal must be picked up by the antenna passed through a filter to remove unwanted higher frequency signals , and then amplified to a level suitable for driving a speaker or headphone . The characteristics are a band pass of 350 Hz up to 11kHz and a very high impendance 10 mega ohms or more .
The receiver has the ability to receive and amplify the electromagnetic transmission and also the rotary waves that are produced from the transmitter and secondary stage by the metal to be found .
